20/20 Reporter, John Stossel, interviewed Palisades Montessori owner, Mia Levi, about universal preschool. The show aired Friday, March 13, 2009. Universal preschool, a program whereby the government pays for all children to attend Pre-K, went down in resounding defeat in the 2006 California election. However, the Obama Administration has designated it a high priority, stirring a growing national debate.
Mia Levi has been an instrumental advocate against universal preschool and has been used as a spokesperson throughout the Southland.
